What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished high school?

I knew I was going to college, but thought I would go into the medical field. Couldn't be further from where I ended up!

Comments:

I moved away, came back, moved away and finally came back to Southern Oregon. We live in Rogue River and love our life. This is really a beautiful part of the world to live in. That said, I love to travel, but have a big bucket list of places I want to see. My favorites so far are: Paris, Amsterdam, London, Hawaii, Sayulita, and my own backyard. Lots more to see.
School Story:

Graduation was a hoot! Lots of "civil disobedience" at our grad ceremony, followed by a fantastic grad party at Susan Stringer's house (my parents were part of the chaperone pack). We woke up to the swimming pool dyed pink from the grad robes people wore as they jumped in at midnight.

Loved my debate team experiences, choir, band/flag team, and so many others. It was a blast being a Black Tornado in 1979.

More travel...Australia, South America, Asia, Austria/Switzerland.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Cycling, gardening, cooking (and eating) and doing just about anything with my grandkids.

Any place near water

The kids and I horsing around at the National Volcano Park in Hawaii, yes Hawaii! Don't let the sweatshirts fool you, it does get cool on the big island especially in December.

The family picture on Christmas Day 2007. We visited Laura Williams (remember her?) on the Big Island during Christmas time and she and Maureen took us out for an incredible Christmas brunch at the Mauna Kea Resort.
