What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished high school?
Attend college and work in Washington DC.
Graduating from the University of Oregon with a Bachelors of Science in June 1984.
After graduation I moved to the Bay Area living in Palo Alto and San Francisco, CA. I started my banking / investment career with Merrill Lynch and spent 5 years before moving to Morgan Stanley in Sacramento where I worked for another 5 years.
While in Folsom, I married Richard Bradford from Los Gatos. In 1989, I founded the 10th chapter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. As President, my goal was to raise enough money to establish Mammography Van for underserved women of the Sacramento Valley. Our efforts rose over $1.7k by establishing ourselves as an LPGA tour stop and the Race for the Cure event. Today, the Van is still used and has provided thousands with free exams.
My husband and I returned to Oregon in January of 1995, and we had our daughter, Jacqueline in July 1995. Unfortunately, our marriage only lasted 10 years.
Bill Batzer and I have been dating for almost 9 years. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to work for the White House doing Advance Work for the President. A wild experience for a gal from Medford, OR.
