I considered attending Brookes Institute to pursue Photo Journalism. I worked towards a Communications degree with an emphasis on photography. I made a change to Exercise Science receiving my BS degree from Portland State. I planned to get my Masters in that area of study until a key professor in the program left. I worked in that field until 1993 running work hardening rehab, back schools and on site corporate pre-work stretching programs for companies like Safeway, United Grocers, Nike and City of Portland. In 1993 I took a sales position with a manufacturing company based out of the Eugene area covering the SW Washington and state of Oregon. In 1995 moved to Thurston, OR becoming the Sales Manager for that division. In 1998 my brothers, another gentlemen and I started the company I current work at performing Sales and Marketing.
I still enjoy photography when I get the chance and try to maintain a regular exercise routine, so I don't look like a desk jockey and can do the things I enjoy during my leisure.
Everything happens for a reason. I did not plan my life this way, but I am happy and content with where I am.
