Jeff you were the funniest guy I ever knew. I just loved the way you would make up words and stories like you really knew what you were talking about. I looked forward to seeing you each day because you could always make me laugh. I missed you so much and it didn't feel right graduating without you.

The news of Jeff's passing was absolutely devastating.
He was my first and bestest buddy upon arriving in Medford from South Dakota when we were 4 years old. I have quite a collection of stories from our days of terror on Pennsylvania Ave. The one I remember most fondly is the first time we met. I went out to play and found a piece of rope about 3 feet long. Hanging out and swinging this rope, here comes Jeff from 2 doors down and around the neighbors hedge. We were standing there just looking at each other when I broke the silence by telling him that I was going to rope him. He went inside and told his mother, Elaine, what my intentions were and she came running out and upon taking the rope from me, proceeded to chew my ass. Big time. After she went back in we shrugged it off and the friendship began.
