Patrick Vincent Moran, 59, of Greeley, Colorado passed away on September 1, 2020 after battling cancer for several months. Pat was a greatly loved son, brother, father, grandpa, uncle and friend.

Pat was born to Phil and Hazel Moran June 4th 1961 in Butte, Montana, the fourth of seven children. The family moved from Butte in 1961, settling in Medford, in 1965. Pat attended Hoover Elementary and Sacred Heart Grade School. (Note from Classmates:  He also attended Hedrick Junior High School ) He went freshman and sophomore years at Saint Mary's High School. Pat graduated from Medford Senior High with the Class of 1979.

Pat enjoyed summer trips back to Butte and grew up having close cousins. Somewhere along the line Pat became a very loyal fan of the Cleveland Browns.

On Saint Patrick's Day March 17, 1995 Pat married the love of his life, Kris. They raised her daughter Juli and Pat's son, Sean, together. Kris passed away in 2013.

Pat enjoyed a varied career in some very interesting fields. He found he was a natural salesman in home improvement sales and real estate. A favorite career was his time as a radio dee-jay with several stations in the Rogue Valley such as KHUG, KBOY, KMFR and KCMX. In the 1990s Pat entered politics and ran for the Oregon Legislature. The last several years Pat was a security specialist for Weld County Government in Greeley.

However, Pat's greatest and most joyous endeavor was being a grandpa to 5 and he excelled at it. He was very involved with helping raise granddaughter, Hanna Leigh. He was proudly known as Hanna's "Pop-Pop" since she was born.

Pat's mother, Hazel, predeceased him. He is survived by his father Phil, Sherwood, OR; son Sean Moran, Seattle, WA; daughter-in-law Cassey Moran and granddaughter Hanna, Greeley, CO; step-daughter Juli Driscoll, her husband, Bill, and their 4 children,Grapeland, TX.

Pat is also survived by his siblings and their spouses: Mike and Julie Moran, Medford, OR; Marcus and Erin Moran, McMInnville, OR; Linda and Darrell Webb, West Linn, OR; Colleen and Paul Schierholtz, Sherwood, OR; Meg and Scott Nottingham, Tigard, OR and Tim and Andrea Moran, Beaverton, OR. Pat was uncle to 12 nieces and nephews. Pat was also well-loved by many friends and relatives.

Pat will be remembered as witty, outrageously funny and highly positive. One of Pat's quotes, influenced a bit by his DJ days, was a philosophical outlook, "Life is like a 45 record. It's short and sweet. But I will see you on the flipside."
