David R. McIntyre, 52, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 15, 2013 in Boulder, Mont. He was born November 23, 1960 to Ronald D. and Frances R. McIntyre in Medford, Ore. He was a lifetime resident of Jacksonville, Ore. until his recent move to Boulder, Mont.

 David graduated from Medford Senior High School in 1979. He attended S.O.S.C. He was employed with the Montana Developemental Center working with disabled adults. David had a passion for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, cooking, and participating in his daughter's English horse riding.

 He is survived by his life partner, Linda Wharton, of Boulder, Mont.; daughter, Ashley McIntyre, of Jacksonville, Ore.; mother, Frances McIntyre, of Jacksonville; sisters, Tami Blount (husband John), of Queen Creek, Ariz. and Terri Harrison (husband Brad), of Eugene, Ore.; and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald D. McIntyre.
