I will always remember "you"...you were the cutest boy. :) One of my very first crushes..."better late than never" to tell you...:) We rode the bus together and you lived down the street from me, as you know. I know you had to wonder why I was always looking at you like I was. I was sooooo "shy" all those years ago...I used to just wish I was brave enough to just say "something" to you before you got off the bus each day. Looking back,I never did. You used to smile at me from time to time...which was so nice of you...and when you did your face would light up...and then mine would for days, because of it...:) No one knew why, but me. I am putting a rose by your name to say "THANK YOU" David for making "A DIFFERENCE" in a "shy young girls life", like you did. I am not shy one bit now...:)I like to think you had "something" to do with that. You can tell "a lot" about a person by their smile. I remember YOURS "lighting up the world." I know you have been smiling in HEAVEN a long time...you must surely be missed by your family and those that loved you here on earth. "Thank you" for "your smiles" to me while you were here.

I worked with Dave at Sears and we became good friends. We used to race each other up the street, him in his Olds me in my GTO, to our respective homes when we finished work at 9:00 PM. I did not learn of his death until 1990 while home on leave. It's sad that the wisdom we need when we are young takes the experience of a lifetime to gain. Later, Dave...
