Our classmate, Ron Ashpole, along with his wife Leslie, founded Helping Hands International. They, along with groups of dedicated and caring individuals, work to help dramatically improve the lives of others. They travel to places like Kenya, Uganda, Mexico, Guadalajara, San Francisco, Bosnia and Honduras, bringing hope and addressing practical needs. They build homes, help secure clean drinking water, provide housing for orphans and minister to those so unfortunate and forgotten, that most of us can not imagine the trials these people face on a daily basis just to survive.
